Arakawa’s Picture Hanging System uses rail and cable to easily display art work in any position on a wall.
The picture rails are designed to be installed in the ceiling or on the wall, and can be installed either during new construction (as specified by architects) or after the fact as improvements to tenant spaces. Rail clips are installed in the rail, and each one connects to cable, which connects to one or more art hangers. Arakawa offers three types of rail clips for each rail, including: hock-type for looped cable end, gripper-type for straight cable ends and runner-type with built-in cable. The hook-type also feature an optional carabiner-type closure for additional safety. Cables are normally silver colored (stainless steel), but are available In either white or black in 1.2mm and 1.5mm diameters.

Standard type hanger has gripping cable function, and S-type hanger is added safety function with S-cap to the Standard typehanger.
Normal type gripper has a mechanism to easy set its position. Connect rail fittings (on rails) to picture hanging hook grippers (on frames) with cables. Position a picture vertically with the gripping mechanism and horizontally along the picture rail.
MF-20S and VF-20S are designed to allow the hook portion to rotate independently from the gripper portion, preventing any tensional load in the suspending cable.
